Three weeks in. And this is where it starts to get Three weeks in. And this is where it starts to get really good.

After week one of our Personal Brand Strategy Certification™️, one of the women in this cohort said to me:

“I’ve learned so much already. I can’t believe this is only week one.”

And we really were only getting started.

What I love about this cohort is the split in the room.

Some are here to get greater clarity and structure around their own personal brand and how they position themselves, communicate their value and build visibility intentionally.

Others are here because they want to take the methodology and skill set and apply it professionally, with clients, within their existing business, or inside the organisation they work for.

And that’s the beauty of the certification.

Becoming certified isn’t only about what you might go on to do for someone else.

It’s also about learning how to think strategically about a personal brand — including your own.

Three weeks down. Five more to go.

And next, they’ll start putting everything into practice with a real case study, taking what they’ve learned and applying it to someone else’s personal brand.

If week one was “I can’t believe how much I’ve learned already”…

I can’t wait to hear what they say by the end 😂
It’s easy to say personal brand doesn’t matter whe It’s easy to say personal brand doesn’t matter when everyone already knows who you are.

I saw a post from Emma Grede about personal brand holding women back…

And I have thoughts.

Because it is one thing to say “don’t focus on your personal brand” when you are already highly visible.

But for most people?

Visibility is the gap.

Yes, do the work.

Your product, service and expertise need to be strong.

But if no one knows what you do, what you stand for, or why you are the person to turn to…

How are they meant to choose you?

Personal branding is not about manufacturing a version of yourself.

It is about being intentional.

Intentional about what you want to be known for.
Intentional about the rooms you want to enter.
Intentional about the opportunities you want to attract.

Your personal brand is the vehicle that helps move you towards what you want to achieve.

I would love to know your thoughts on this 🙏
“How do you know they won’t pay?” I asked a clien “How do you know they won’t pay?”

I asked a client this recently after she told me people would never pay that price.

And she didn’t really have an answer.

She had just decided.

That decision was costing her money.

So often, we assume what people will or won’t invest in before we have actually asked them properly.

That is not always a pricing problem.

Sometimes, it is a personal brand value problem.

This is why I use @score_app

It helps you gather data, test interest and understand what your audience actually wants before you announce anything publicly.

Stop guessing.
Ask properly.

I’m currently sharing 50% off ScoreApp - link is in my bio ☝️
Well, if you want to get technical… it’s actually Well, if you want to get technical… it’s actually even less than 90 days. 😂

84 days.

That’s how much of 2026 we have left.

And I know how easy it is at this point in the year to start saying, “I’ll do that in January.”

But I’ve learned not to wait for January.

One year, I decided I wanted to do a TEDx.
Another, I wanted to diversify our service offerings.
Another, I wanted to create a certification.

None of those things started when I finally achieved them.

They started when I decided where I wanted to go next.

And I think we get this backwards sometimes.

We set goals based on where we are now. What we’ve already done. What feels realistic from here.

Instead, ask yourself:

What do I want to be true in 2027?

Who do I need to become?
What do I want to be known for?
Whose radar do I need to be on?

Then start building the evidence for that person now.

Because you don’t build your personal brand when you need it.

By the time you want the stage, the introduction, the promotion, the client or the opportunity, people should already have a reason to think of you.

I’ve mapped out my own capacity for these final 84 days, and I have 3 spaces left to work with me one-to-one before the end of the year.

If 2027 needs a different version of your personal brand, don’t wait until January to start building it.

No one knows the thing you created is not perfect. No one knows the thing you created is not perfect.

And truthfully?

Most people do not care as much as you think they do.

In this clip from my conversation with Marms Hope, we spoke about why founders stay stuck.

The idea stays in the notebook.
The offer stays in drafts.
The project waits for the “right time.”

But no one can buy, support or respond to something they cannot see.

Execution matters.

You are not going to make money from an idea sitting on a piece of paper.

Take the step.

Get it out there.

Then improve as you go 💛
What happens when culture and personal brand come What happens when culture and personal brand come together?

You create a Visible Organisation.

Recently, @lucy.dabo and I brought our two worlds together for a conversation I think organisations need to be having more of.

Because an organisation isn’t visible because of its logo, its marketing or even its employer brand.

It becomes visible through its people.

Lucy brought the culture lens.
I brought the personal brand lens.

And somewhere in the middle was the conversation that really matters:

How do you create a culture where people feel confident to be seen, heard and known for what they bring while strengthening the reputation of the organisation they represent?

We explored exactly that, with a brilliant turnout, honest conversations and live hot seats tackling real questions around personal brand inside an organisation, employee visibility, leadership and reputation.

And what became very clear is that these two things shouldn’t be treated separately.

Your people shape your culture.
Your people carry your brand.
And your people make your organisation visible.

Lucy and I both came away feeling that this wasn’t just a great event. It opened up a conversation that feels increasingly important for organisations and their people.

So, if you missed this one and would be interested in joining us for another Visible Organisation event, let us know in the comments.

Maybe it’s something Lucy and I need to put on the agenda for 2027…
